An Alice and Wonderland Complex

It's funny how I always feel like I am in a hurry. Always in a rush to do something and never enough time to do it in. Sometimes I feel like the rabbit from Alice and Wonderland, "I'm late, I'm late, I'm late." I don't know why. I am voluntarily unemployed, you know. Still it seems life is passing by too quickly and my Things To Do list is only getting longer.

Speaking of lists getting longer, I think I have about ONE MILLION recipes I want to try and even when I make one the list doesn't get any shorter because I want to make sure that every recipe is perfect. Like these, Chocolate Malt/Toasted Marshmallow cupcakes. Good, not great. Fine, not perfect. Satisfactory, not stunning.

I first saw this recipe on my new favorite website, Pinterest, and I couldn't wait to try it. Someday I'll make it in layered cake form. Someday it will be perfect. Someday I'll make it so it looks as beautiful as the pictures on her blog. Someday...(insert a giant sigh here).

I'm not sure how to fix time's warp speed, maybe I just need to have more than one list...
